Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse 2021
One chapter is closing as another portal opens.
This Total Lunar Eclipse marks the completion of a cycle that began with the last Total Lunar Eclipse in January 2019. It is amazing to look back on this period, witnessing all that has shifted globally and within each of our personal lives. Impossible to imagine what may happen in this new cycle that is yet to come.
In numerology the energy of this day is that of a nine. Nine represents completion, the path of wisdom, compassion, awareness, awakening. It represents the spiral, our consciousness raising up to the next level on our journey.
It is possible that in the lead up to this portal you have been feeling a circling of energy. Old wounds, vulnerabilities, insecurities, limiting beliefs coming back up to the surface. They may have come with deepened intensity and increased pain. To the point it may seem as if you have fully regressed to an old version of yourself. We are being asked to look into our shadow to release and restructure that which no longer serves to step into this next phase lighter and more spacious. We are being emboldened to fearless walk through this darkness preparing ourselves for the unknown that lays ahead. Sometimes when we are comfortable in our lives making the necessary changes for our soul’s evolution can seem just too much effort. Challenge can create the desire for growth.
With the Eclipse taking place at 5 degrees of Sagittarius we are collectively and individually exploring the themes of “the axis of knowledge”. What beliefs, identities, “truths” have we been holding onto. Are we capable of expanding our mind beyond its limitations and expectations to experience life through a wider lens? With so much shifting on this planet so rapidly we are collectively and individually radically reshaping our perception of reality. This Eclipse Season offers us the opportunity to do so intentionally.
The other end of this axis lies in Gemini, a sign of brilliant intelligence, diversity, rapid movement and change. What if we could let go of the illusion of security and knowing what is going on and surrender to our intuition, to the internal guidance that guides beyond logic and reason?
Jupiter the ruling planet of Sagittarius has entered into Pisces. Jupiter is the planet of abundance, expansion, growth and evolution. Pisces is the sign most connected to Great Spirit. It guides us to connect with the infinite, with the invisible realms, universal consciousness, magic and our dreams. However, it has a shadow too. When out of balance we can get lost in the emotional ocean of Pisces. Addiction, attachment, confusion and overwhelm can take their hold. With Jupiter traversing through this sign it is important to choose wisely what to create, participate in and manifest.
