Full Moon Virgo & Spring Equinox

The beginning of the Astrological Year starts with the Spring Equinox on March 20th.

The Sun rising in the Sign of Aries invites new beginnings, courage, passion and strength. Just like the spring flowers that burst through the frozen earth we too are being invited forward into rebirth.

Aries is the sign of the Warrior and protector of all that is holy, of this Earth and of our community. We can embrace the bravery of Aries now, fearlessly stepping into the unknown potential of the year.

A Cardinal Fire Sign Aries invites us to become leaders. Inviting empowered action to change our lives. No longer afraid or dominated by the world around us we can speak out and act to protect that which is most vulnerable and sacred.

Aries offers vision so that we may clearly see the path that lies ahead. It provides the will power to take action and move forward with excitement and determination.

Two days before the Spring Equinox we have the Full Moon in Virgo. It is also auspicious when an Equinox is aligned with the Full Moon.

The Full Moon shines light on the darkest aspects of our being. So that we can become lucid in the depths of our subconscious. Seeing what conditioning and emotional patterns we are governed by. So that we can consciously awaken and liberate ourselves from our limiting beliefs.

This Full Moon is in Virgo the Sign of the Priest/Priestess that serves our Great Mother Earth. Devoted to taking care of Great Mother Nature that continuously gives everything we have so that we can blossom and thrive in this lifetime.

Virgo uses the intelligence of the mind to observe patterns and cycles in Nature. To know when something is out of alignment and how to bring it back into health and harmony. Virgo is the vessel through which the spirit realm communicates to humanity offering wisdom, guidance and support.

With this Full Moon in Virgo coming at the beginning of the New Astrological Year it is a sign. Time to take action and look after our planet. To move beyond our limiting beliefs, or feelings of helplessness. To go out into the wild and remember that we are a part of a vast tapestry. One that we couldn’t live without. That we are not separate from our Mother. That what we do to her, we also do to ourselves. It is time to wake up!

Now is a particularly potent time to go out into Nature. Take time to sit under a tree, by a river, the sea, in a garden or on a mountain. Introduce yourself, say hello to Nature. Remember you are already intimately familiar. Every sip of water comes from her. Every breath of air is given to us by the trees. Every bite of food has come from the fertile soil. Take time to just BE with her. Not doing, not acting, not wanting. And when you feel ready ask her “How may I serve you?”

What if this year was your year to go back home to nature? To realise that when you live with her cycles and seasons, taking care of her, nourishing the soil and cleaning the water you are free. No longer caught in the system that constantly aims to distract from what is truly important.

This is your invitation to listen, to return home and live as a part of Nature.
